Battle League - How it works

ABOUT

Battle League is a PVP system we created to offer our community a unique gaming alterative to personal breaks. Battle League rewards victories without losing everything after a defeat. Rewards await the top ranking players at the end of each season.

GAME MODE

  • Purchase "High Stakes" or do Custom PVP by selecting eligible packs
  • Announce your intent to PVP on any day we are live on stream or via our Discord or arrange to PVP with one of our community members
  • Get queued and battle!
  • Winner receives the prize for the tier
  • Losing player keeps the hits from packs used for Battle Points accumulation
  • Both player's Battle Points will be updated on the ranking table

Custom PVP

  • Some titles may be restricted, please see below
  • Custom PVP packs must be purchased in set of 5. In each set -
    • 1 pack will be staked
    • 4 packs will be used for Battle Points
  • Winner receives all staked packs
  • Losing player keeps packs used for Battle Points accumulation
  • Both player's Battle Points will be updated on the ranking table

HOW IT WORKS

Once players enter the game mode Battle Points are accumulated from packs opened based on the rarity of the cards pulled.

Player with the highest Battle Points, wins

In case of a DRAW

Players are subjected to the whims of fate by undergoing a dice roll or wheel spin

  • Each player will have their name entered 10 times on a wheel
  • The list will be randomized 3 times before the wheel spins to select a winner

ADDITIONAL MECHANICS

Player Immunity

Top 9 players on the leaderboard are immune to the bonus points multiplier when defeated by players ranked 10 onwards

Bonus Points Multiplier

Players ranked 11 onwards are able to gain bonus Battle Points by defeating players ranked above them on the leaderboard.

The bonus points multiplier applied is fixed to 1.5

Mechanics at Play

Example 1

  • Rank 11 beats Rank 10 with a score of 20 to 18
  • Rank 10 is not immune to bonus points multiplier
  • Rank 11 gains (20 x 1.5) 30 battle points in total

Example 2

  • Rank 30 beats Rank 12 with a score of 30 to 20
  • Rank 12 is not immune to bonus points multiplier
  • Rank 30 gains (30 x 1.5) 45 battle points in total
Example 3
  • Rank 10 beats Rank 9 with a score of 15 to 10
  • Rank 9 is immune to bonus points multiplier
  • Rank 10 gains 15 battle points in total

Example 4

  • Rank 20 beats Rank 3 with a score of 25 to 17
  • Rank 3 is immune to bonus points multiplier
  • Rank 20 gains 25 battle points in total

CUSTOM PVP

These TCG titles cannot be used for Battle League games

  • All Weiss Schwarz titles
  • All Carddass titles
  • All Cardfight!! Vanguard titles
  • All Dragonball titles
  • SMP2 Detective Pikachu
  • All Shikishi Arts

These TCG titles have a cooldown restriction

  • 25th Anniversary Collection (any language) - limited to 5 packs per person per week
  • Tag Team GX All Star limited to 5 packs per person per week
  • Shiny Star V limited to 5 packs per person per week
  • VMAX Climax limited to 5 packs per person per week
