Battle League Rankings update to points system
In order to increase the competitiveness of players ranked lower in the BLR (Battle League Ranking), we are introducing a new feature to the points system.
Players who win matches against those ranked higher on the BLR will receive a 50% boost to their total match points.
Players who win matches against those ranked higher on the BLR will receive a 50% boost to their total match points.
- This will have no effect on the match outcome.
- Only applies if the player ranked lower on the BLR wins
Ex. 1 - Rank 10 Player vs Rank 15 Player
- Rank 15 Player wins the match with 10 points
- Player receives a 1.5 multiplier to their BLR points
- Total points earned for BLR is 15.
Ex. 2 - Rank 10 Player vs Rank 15 Player
- Rank 15 Player loses the match with 10 points
- Player does not receive a multiplier
- Total points earned for BLR is 10
